In many ways you are your ancestors – in addition to culture and traditions learned from your family, you carry their genetic heritage with its potential and sometimes burdens. By understanding your family history and patterns, you begin to understand how you are a leaf in a living tree.

If you’ve hit a brick wall with your own family research or you’re not sure how to get started; if you need an extended family health history for your doctor or other medical professional and need assistance, I can help.

I am a researcher by training and have 20 years of genealogical research experience, with particular interest in Pacific Northwest, Irish history and the westward migration, and medical/health related genealogy. I completed the Boston University certificate program in Genealogical Research, and several courses with distinction through the National Institute of Genealogical Research, including Medical Genealogy and Copyright Law.
